From a Shared Love of the Mountains

What began as a small circle of friends chasing sunrises above the clouds has grown into a full-fledged mountain travel company. We started Oktrek because we were tired of rushed, one-size-fits-all trips that treated the Himalaya like a checklist. We wanted journeys that respect the mountain, the pace of the walker, and the culture of the villages we pass through.

Today we run fixed-departure treks and sacred yatra routes across the Indian Himalaya. Every itinerary is walked and tested by our own team before it is offered to you, so the days, distances, and rest points are realistic — not just numbers on a brochure.

We stay small on purpose. Smaller groups mean safer trails, warmer campfires, and guides who actually remember your name.
